Loving all the Sunshine!

As a transplant from Nevada, the Washington weather can get me down. I have experienced more than one summer here where at the end of the season I have looked back and wanted to throw a royal tantrum at the pathetic excuse for a summer that was had. With that said... This spring has been glorious! I have basked in the 28+ days without a raindrop to fall from the sky. AAhhhhh..... Thank You Lord!

Well it is now Christmas Eve and we have seen a lot of snow these last couple of days. The Children just absolutely love it and always ask to play in it.

Me and (Happy Asher)
We have gotten about 14"-20" accumulative snow fall since it first started falling back on the 14th. We had a Nice size (Winter Snow Warning) storm come in around the 20th that just dumped on us through the 21st and then off and on the last couple of days.
We ended up going out front with the Holmegrens to let all of our kids play in the snow together. So here are some of the pictures!!!

Putting Luke to work since he is so strong!

Ohhh Wipe out!!

Snow Day!!!

Well Its that time of the season again. The snow Started falling on Sunday (Dec. 14th) we got about 2"-3" of snow! The kids could not wait to play in it! It is now Wednesday and it has since been snowing off and on each day, giving us maybe 5" of snow!!

On Monday I decided to take the kids and the dog out to play in it. Luke was funny because he dressed up like a Terrorist. Its really cool we get snow at this level since we are only a small hill jump away from Sea Level, with the ocean Inlet about 4 minutes away. The children really enjoy playing in the snow.

2008 Late Season Hunting Trip

Well I did some hunting this year with my new Bow and It all came down to the late season Hunt. So Me, John, Richard and Jason decided to camp out Friday, Saturday and come home Sunday, which are the last days of our hunting season.

We got there Friday around 3:30pm and we got our camp setup and started a fire which was hard due to the fact everything was wet, but with John's Fire expertise and our desperate determination we were able to get it started.

We went out all day Saturday and half of Sunday, saw a lot of Deer and Elk tracks, but were unsuccessful in seeing any animals.
It was fun just going out with the guys and freezing our butts off just for the sake of doing something fun and exciting with the guys!
